As a result of a lack of regulation that has led to serious safety risks involving untrained animals on Delta Air Lines flights, the airline is adding additional requirements for service and support animals. On 12 January 2016 Aviation24.be reported about an emotional support turkey on board one of Delta Air Lines’ flights. From 1 March 2018 onward, turkeys will be disallowed on board Delta flights, and with good reason.
